I've been shooting pretty much only the Walmart Federal out of my Sigma .40. Last couple thousand rounds or so. Zero FTE's or FTF's or other malfunctions. Works great and seems to be as accurate as I am. -

No probs with Federal. The bulk packs are great... if you can find them in stock. I've shot maybe 1k of the 223 bulk packs and have not had a single problem with them.Comment

I buy federal and winchester at walmart and have for many years.
I have never had a FTF or FTE in any gun I own with any centerfire ammo I have bought at WM, ever. We are talking who knows how many tens thousands of rounds. Over the last decade.

Federal is owned by the same parent company as CCI and Speer who are known for high quality ammo. Even though it is marketed as a value pack, the quality and reliability is more than good enough for every day plinking.Comment

I've had no problems with the Federal value packs. I've put about 400 rounds of this ammo through my AR with no malfunctions of any kind. The ammo shot well with no surprises."We're surrounded.....that simplifies our problem."
