Right, put the victims and their families aside. Focus on the PR and what it means for you.

Victims and families are always first to loose in these situations and that is always troubling. It always is hard to hear of these events and the tragedy that follows. What is also troubling is that every time one of these events unfolds it is one more bit of bad press for law biding gun owners and keeping their rights. If that is not bad PR, then what is? It also affects you too. You get it now?

Is it just me or do these shootings seem to happen more under democrat administrations? Seems like there was a shooting every other week when the Clintons were in office.

That's a bit of a reach...Really, as much as you may like, you can't blame the democrats for everything.

I agree. Frankly, the piss poor state of the economy, the war, people losing jobs, etc., is a more likely contributing factor than anything remotely to do with political affiliation. Frankly, that's a cheap shot.

Actually, I would just say that shootings just get more press with a Democratic administration. It just helps the pro gun control crowd to step up their anti-gun rhetoric.
