    Improvised Munition Handbook

I was reading Dan Browns novel Artic Drift, in one chapter of the novel specials ops in the artic uses improvised munition out of snow. I searched on wikipidea about " improvised munition " and found an article about US Army TM 31-210 Improvised munition handbook. Its pretty interesting. Check it out.

Amazon has that and other handbooks available. I believe there are places online where you can read them, too.

Better that the any of the "underground" publications on the subject - some of the recipes in the Anarchist's Cookbook are guaranteed to ruin your day.
The way some gunshop clerks spout off, you'd think that they invented gunpowder and the repeating rifle, and sat on the Supreme Court as well.
