Can my wife sell my guns for me?

I am in Georgia soon and I need to sell some of my firearms. I am going to be home for a short period of time soon and then we are getting stationed in Hawaii. I was wondering if my wife could do the transfers for me if I sold them?

I searched the DOJ website with no luck and I search around on here and came up empty.

As long as she isn't prohibited from owning firearms herself yes she can sell them and transfer them for you IIRC.

yea the buyer is the only person checked or named in the sale. so if she can legally own/posses then she can do the transfer.

She will need a Ca driver's license or ID to transfer, you can buy/sell on PCS orders if you're not a resident. Good luck at your next duty station.

You can also put them on consignment at a gun shop. If you're selling them because you cant bring them with you there is always the option of storing them somewhere.
