    El Cajon Gun

Anyone deal with these bozos? I had won a prize from "On Target" radio show and I had to pick it up at the store. The store manager and also co host for the radio show, Ron , is the RUDEST person I have ever encountered. I will NEVER step one foot inside that store again. Talk about an IDIOT.

I haven't been really impressed with their customer service. Not that I have had anything to complain about the product I have bought from them. It just seems like their employees and management should probably try a little harder at not making you feel like a criminal when shopping in their store. Very unfriendly is how I would classify my experiences there.

Oh no! A free prize from a gun store! Sounds aweful! More details would be helpful!

Been in there a few times. Similar experiences. Last on my list of San Diego area FFL's........ I'd only go there if there were the only game in town. I'd rather go to a gun show, pay for parking, etc than go there. They are also one of the places that likes to make sure you know that they know more than you do (even when they're wrong!)
          all the best,

There are some people that it's just not worth engaging.

It's a muzzle BRAKE, not a muzzle break. Or is your muzzle tired?

It would have to be El Cajon Gun Exchange since that is where Ron works.

The only thing I like about them is that they stock Black Powder substitutes. What I really hate about them is that they will not quote any prices over the phone.

Did Ron give you the stink-eye while telling you about something really cool he once did at the Sheriffs Department?

I bought my safe there....I went in a few months after that, cuz I thought I remembered seeing an M1A there that I wanted to check out.....boy, if they spent as much time stocking their store with rifles/pistols as they do making stupid signs to hang all over the place, well...they might have something to look at. I always felt like a peeon going in there tho.....

i only go in there if i need reloading components, like that exact instant. the trick is, when one of the floor guys asks you a rhetorical question to make you sound stupid, ask him for the answer. its hilarious.

so cal gun is my gun store of choice in san diego, everybody there is great. second would be la mesa collectibles, or fine firearms, or whatever the hell theyre calling themselves these days. theyre scared of black rifles, though, last i was in there...

So far I have found only one guy worth dealing with. Not sure of his name, he is typically back there with the reloading stuff. Very helpful and informative. If it wasn't for the store's overall prices, I would probably buy from (I may buy the "gotta have today" stuff when I do start reloading).

I find it funny that Fine Firearms and La Mesa collectibles are right next to each other....that has to suck for the owners. Whoever showed up second is a little douchey if you ask me. Fine Firearms still consider OLL's fuzzy and will not have anything to do with them. Not sure on La Mesa Collectibles...The guys in La Mesa collectibles are very nice folks, Fine is rather Meh but they do have a better selection of firearms.
