People in NH are outraged and want the list of death penalty-qualifying homicides expanded to cover home invasion murders because of this one.

I agree that the home is pretty much sacred ground and should be treated as much. I wish california had a castle doctrine and believe that any type of home invasion should be eligible for death penalty. I don't care if you just broke in to beat me up and take my stuff .. DEATH.

I heard on the radio the killer said he was disappointed because he had looked forward to it for such a long time and he didn't feel anything while he was doing it and he thought he would have. If it were my house, I'd hope he'd have felt a couple oz of lead landing center mass.

Nothing like a good double tap to end the night. I hope her daughter ends up ok. I know that would really hamper ones mental stability to see this happen at any age let alone an eleven year old girl. I hope those two rot in prison for a long long time.

              ...but we do.

Check when deadly force is justified in California.

Its always good to post the read with the link....

MONT VERNON, N.H. -- Police released documents Tuesday that contained new details regarding the brutal murder of a New Hampshire mother and her daughter who survived.

Kimberly Cates was hacked to death in her own home. Her 11-year-old daughter, Jamie, was brutally attacked with the same weapon in the middle of the night.

The newly released documents revealed one of the suspects told officers that he had wanted to kill someone for a long time. He told police that his only regret was that he did not kill the child.

The court files also show when police arrived at the scene, the child was found inside the house bleeding profusely. When the officer entered the home, the child told him, "They killed my mommy."

After carrying the child outside, the officer went back into the house and found her mother in the bedroom lying on the bed.

"She was naked from the waist down with extreme trauma to the head and appeared to be deceased,” the court documents state.

It's assumed the only reason that child survived was that she pretended to be dead.

While five men are charged in connection with the home invasion, police say Christopher Gribble, 20, and Steven Spader, 18, are the ring leaders.

In the file, Gribble describes himself and Spader to be sociopaths. The documents reveal not only did the two agree to break into the house, but they would just kill anyone home just for fun.

Hanging drawing and quartering, would be to easy on these beasts.

A more satisfying way would be the french Regicide punishment.

I wish i hadn't opened this thread it just makes me so angry as a person.

California does have a castle doctrine. Once someone enters your home by force and you feel you life is in danger you can use deadly force. This does not extend to the property outside your home however.

There are too many people who need to be shot that are getting away with so much evil.

Not a single person in the crowd is rational or reachable because the parade's for gay folks and it's in SF.
