How often do you go shooting?

Yea ammo prices are really painful these days, especially with my tendecy to rapid fire. I think I'll invest in some Wolf .223...if any gun can digest that stuff reliably, it will be my AK!

Average once a week with 200 rounds down range.

Last week it was 4 times...

Every Thursday for HP practice (58rnds) plus I usually shoot one other rifle (Garands mostly) (another 50 -60 rnds)

HP matches on Saturdays (58rnds) and an additional match every other month on a Sunday.... (58 - 88 rnds depending on the match)


Davis St. range (San Leandro) on Wednesdays (100 - 400 rnds depending if I shoot rifle and handgunds)

and if I don't get beat up on by the wifey.. I go one other day.. sometimes a Monday to the Davis St. (San Leandro) range (usually pistol prace here 200 - 300rnds)

I'm in the 'more than twice a week' bracket, but I fear that is because I shoot before/after work regularly. As far as when I go in specifically for myself to shoot, or shooting elsewhere, I'd say about once a week. I'm going broke lately shooting my 1911, I always say 'just one box' and end up shooting three, and doing that a few times a week after work has put me in the hole. Gonna have to stop eating and stop shooting for awhile. Well, I'll stop eating first, I just bought 500 rounds of .223 this morning.

Ammo has gotten too damn expensive, and I get a discount, I don't know how you guys do it. Although, I don't make anywhere near the money the rest of you do.
