    Good Job Ammo Bros!

Met with another Calgunner at Ammo Bros this afternoon for a handgun PPT (1/5/10).

While we were there, a customer came in who wanted to sell a revolver. Francisco, who was handling our PPT, was very frank and honest and told the customer Ammo Bros could buy the revolver, but basically, they were better off trying to sell it themselves and having the transfer done at Ammo Bros.

He then told the customer about Calguns.net as a place to get more information in general and to post a "For Sale" thread. Thumbs up to Francisco and Ammo Bros for the professional and courteous way they deal with the public.

Oh, and the PPT went through without a hitch.

As Francisco's boss reads this and Francisco is no longer employed by Ammo Bros.. Now Francisco can't afford to feed his children, and you've just caused Francisco's foreclosure.

I think that's pretty cool of Francisco as well; but I'm just sayin.. Business is business, and some things are probably better left not as a thread on Calguns.

        Nope, you got it wrong....

Francisco is doing exactly what he is supposed to be doing...providing good service.

        We love hearing this stuff!

Ammo Bro's has always done me right.
They have a very efficient number system when it gets busy.

              Friendly staff as well.
I have probably done a half dozen transfers there as well as ammo purchases.

There's a reason some stores are busy and that's usually a good thing.

If Ammo bros fires or punishes him for telling the truth and providing honest good cust service, what does that say about Ammo Bros, or any other company. Besides, as evident in this post, it only further serves to enhance Ammo Bros reputation and will net more $$$ to their bottom line in the llong run.

I've been a customer of Ammo Bros for many years, since they first started showing up at gun shows...no stores. I've talked to the BROTHERS many times, and their attitude is the same as Francisco's...the more informed shooters we have in California is a good thing. Francisco's honest and frank approach to this customer was great to see, especially when compared to some of the BS I hear at some of the other gun stores (past and present).

These guys are shooters who discovered they could make money by going into business. If they would have talked to me first, I would have told them the best way to ruin a good hobby is to turn it into a business!!

Nah, the only thing that Francisco will get is an 'atta-boy' for this...truly.

We need more guys like Francisco behind the counter. He must have felt comfortable with management before making such statements.

Ammo Bros head up their *****

Ammo Bros are too freaked out, too bad for Francisco if he lost his job, I am sure it was that and more, I personally did not care for the dude.
Not a reason to get fired though..
The owners seem cool but they are over priced businessmen and are not fair, I will not ever give them my business again !
Some of the youngsters they hire are typical for the generation, if they keep hiring kids they will keep losing business. Shows you how cheap they are but their prices are not... all you gotta do is look. I mean what is so good about them anyway?

What Francisco's boss realizes, I'm sure, is that stories like these pretty much guarantee that Ammo Brothers has a long line of repeat customers.

There are few stores that I'd go out of my way to patronize.

Ammo Brothers is one of them.
