Cow Palace shows

I plan to attend the upcoming Cow Palace show on the 16 and 17th of January.

What is this gun show usually like? As in are there not too many gangbangers or weird people?

Gangbangers going to gunshows are a myth propagated by the Bradys, esp in CA. CA gunshows are highly regulated.

If you see a gangbanger in a gunshow, they're probably Brothers Against Guns trying to set something up or lie in testimony.

Avoid it on sat morning, I'm wierd, I'll be there for ammo. My gangbanger friends are all busy polishing rims so you should be safe from them (at least while at the show).

Come on dude, it's a better class crowd than ANY sporting event.

The last show was pretty good, there was plenty of ammo, all kinds of guns and parts, I went past my budget within 20 minutes and by the time I made the third trip to my car I was able to calculate that if I ate ramen once a day & lived in a cardboard box for the next two years, I could get my budget back on track.

This month, I'll be pretty budget-concious at the Cow but I expect there will be a few boxes of ammo dat be callin' ma name. I'll take the handcart just in case.....

It looks like tha bar scene from Star Wars were Luke and Obi one kenobi meet Han solo to try and buy a ride on his Millenium Falcon.
It just lacks that awful background music.

I grew up in that area and went to school two blocks away. If your worried about the people that live around there just go early. They don't get out of bed before noon anyway.

Stay away from the Calguns booth..I heard their weird..Brandishing their OLL and wearing those blue Calguns polos..



I worked the Calguns booth back in Sept..Lots of nice folks.

I have the misfortune to remember that show back in the 80's. There's really no comparison now.

I remember the good ol days to. I bought a HK SP89 and a HK 91 back in the days there. Boy I miss those times!
