Advice need on buying new rifle

So im going have $900 dollars left after i pay off my van, and i want to buy a new rifle. I know $900 aint much but its what im working with. I dont want to mess around with a bullet button but i do want a detachable magazine.

Ive been looking at saiga's, mini ruger 14's, i really wanted a FAL but there much over what i can spend.

So if anyone could help me out it would be appreciated.

900 will get you a Fal, go to the falfiles marketplace and be ready, I'd place a WTB add with a price of $700-800 and see what you get offered; you will need a mag lock with that though. If you save a little or get really lucky watch for an M1A there as well and forget the bb. If you want to get something special with that $, place a WTB add for a Daewoo DR200 at the Files and you will be very pleased.

I agree that $900 will get you a FAL or copy. Thats about what I have in mine with 7 10 rd magazines. Parts kit (purchased at top $) and an Enterprise receiver w/ 922r parts.
Even better yet before I went the route I did, I was watching a Century L1A1 on Gunbroker that was at $600 add $100 for shipping and DROS, plus a coupleof mag kits (if you are handy and can make blocks) and you will be at or below your limit. If you want it bad enough, you will find a way.
