    Shipping a 30-06

    Hello everyone. My dad passed away a number of years ago living in MA. He had a 30-06 which is now mine. My brother currently has the gun at his house and I would like to have it in mine. Problem is neither one of us knows how to get it to CA legally. Can anyone help me?

      Have him mail, ups, or fedex it to a FFL01 licensed dealer (a gun shop). They will charge you a fee and hold it for 10 days while your backround is being checked. Fees vary widely so shop around. Tell us where you are located and you may get some recommendations.
