PROBLEMS WITH THE PMAG AND S&W M&P15 LOWER RECEIVER

Im interested in the magpul pmag, but i currently own the s&w lower receiver, i have surfed the web and it has come to my knowledge that the pmag does not fit the magwell of the s&w lower reiceiver. has anybody had this issue with their s&w lower receiver? or any other mag not fitting correctly? i would like to know before i go ahead and purchase a bunch of pmag magazines, any info available from the members of calguns would greatly be appreciated. thanks.

but i really dont see how one wouldnt fit. i was going to mic my PMAg and compare it to a Promag but my mics are freaking broken

they work perfectly fine in my brothers and his friends M&P lower

If you look at the mag in the Bravo Co. ad there is a 'ridge' on the side of the mag at the front .That ridge measures .905" . The mag measures .880" at the rear .All my C-Prods {alum} measure .880" everywhere. The internal dimension on the mil-spec print of a lower magwell is .898" .Therefore the P-mags with the 4 'window reliefs' will not fit. The later 3 'window relief ' P-mags measure .880" at max. thickness . These should fit all the lowers .

I have a S&W MP-15 sitting 3 feet away from me with a pmag in it now... Not sure where you heard this but I have never had a problem
