Interesting picture on book cover...

Thought this was funny, so please bear with me...

So, I was at the Nissan dealership having my truck serviced. I went into the waiting area, looking for something to read to pass the time. They had no magazines, but did have a stack of novels on the table. They were all Tom Clancy novels, which I love!

Anyway, I pick up a copy of Patriot Games and notice there's a pic of an AK style rifle on it...


I did a double take and had to take a closer look...


I thought to myself, "It's a sad day when pictures of AKs on books need to be CA Compliant."

they used AKs in the book, i'm assuming you don't mean the preferred weapon of the IRA...the AR-18

You do know that the AK on the cover of the book has always looked like that and the book has been out since 1987.

Neat that whoever did the graphics for the book cover artwork pretty much predicted the future of CA's gun configurations.. years ahead of time..
