.22 recoil kit

I had a buddy say he had seen a kit that "adds" recoil to you .22 uppers or .22 kits to make it feel like a 5.56 or .223 rifle... (this is for a Ar pattern rifle) Anyone know how or where to find this? Seems silly but I am interesting in how it works...

It would be interesting, but I don't see what the point is. The AR platform has almost zero recoil already.

There is a flash enhancer for ARs, neat but expensive.

Also, back in the 80s Danny Vermin had a loudener on his .88 Magnum.

So, is it a floating chamber deal like the Ace conversion for the 1911?
