Was it that dark haired jerkoff? I purchased a 625 Miculek ,I had to wait on before DROSing, cause I had already done one that month, well they had it sent over from the warehouse and that FRIGGIN MORON had fit because I actually wanted to see it and touch it before I brought it home, imagine that. It took Mr. Gunshop Hero about a half hour to locate the thing. Man that place pisses me off

Tactical T. What are you insane? Talk to a manager at a retail store that might make it right? Why do that when it would be more fun to complain about it on the internet!?!?
      Buy my EO Tech XPS3-0!!!

Note: I did not write the above article.

tactical Tim sounds like an employee.
And the Dark Haired guy is the manager, but I guess it's just more fun for you to make assumptions on the internet. And when you get crappy service from the manger do what I did and contact the corporate office. Oh but wait maybe I should check with you first

Did they lose it, or did they sell it?

At the Riverside Turner's they missed getting my pistol sent from the wharehouse to the dealer by the time my 10 day was up.

I showed up to get it and the manager turned white. The guy asked me if I could wait about an hour and he'd personally drive up to get it.

We went and had a nice dinner and came back to pick it up. He had it in hand AND told me I could have any box of ammo for it I chose for my troubles.

            Gold star for those guys.

You guys know how much a mix master M1 Garand would go for. The morons that go into Turners probably wouldn't.

No offense if you go into Turners and pay too much for a consignment sales

I have two recent experiences. I'll try to be brief.

#1 - San Marcos Turners. Today I went to pick up my new Socom, private party transfer. The turners employee leans it up against the counter and it falls to the ground, hitting the back of the cabinets on the way down. I almost fell to my knees. I couldn't really discern between the new and old damage. So we moved on.

Then he takes it to the front and leans it on a stool. IT FALLS AGAIN! this time against the window and security gate tracks. Long story short I came home with a gun in far worse condition than when I left it in their capable hands and a free box of Hornady ammo.

#2 - Riverside Turners. Last Saturday, 10:30 a.m. I am waiting to transfer my new HK USP, private party. A guy is there picking up a gun and starting the registration on a new one. He is working with Larry the manager. He's talking to Larry about his recent fishing trip and asks Larry if you can smoke pot on the boat. The guy buying the guns continues to clearly and loudly profess his abuse of marijuana to the whole store.

I ask the guy that is doing the paperwork for me, at what point do you deny selling a person a firearm when they admit to you personally the "illegal use of marijuana". He had nothing to say except that Larry is a manager.

Thanks for the therapy. I left messages at Turners Corporate with no return calls. Those Safari Club guys that bought the chain need to move forward with their changes or they'll be gone.

At least they are doing some things to try and fix stuff.
I hate turners in general, FV even more.
The Orange store has smarter people working there with better attitudes.

I have purchased several firearms form FV Turners and never had one problem. I always deal with Henry. I have two super sweet guns on layaway....don't scare me with these tales.

I've noticed the Redondo Beach Turner's goes through phases. They'll have a good manager and the whole store will be cool for a while. Then they'll get a bad manager and the whole store will suck for a while. Etc. I'm not sure what sort of manager they have right now.

I've never been to the San Marcos store, the ponytailed guy doesn't have a long scar on his neck by any chance does he?
