    Just my luck...

I took apart and cleaned my new (to me) Mosin Nagant M44 today. After putting it back together I notice the trigger is pretty much just free hanging. Wondering WTF I look at a diagram online and I was missing the trigger pin, and I can not for the life of me find it.

What did I do to deserve this?!?!

Happens to all of us at one time or another. Good luck finding the trigger pin.

bad start...happy ending lol When ever taking apart something that has lots of little pieces that can be dropped and lost easily, its best to do it somewhere open. Like in the center of a living room with carpet to prevent "rolling" lol

That's what happens when you forget to put down the old white sheet first.

Glad you found it and not the Carpet Gremlins.......I hate those A-holes! LOL

But don't do it in a place like an open field. Ever see what happens to a FAL extractor when you slip while disengaging it from the bolt carrier? Me either. Hopefully my lawn mower will find it someday.
