    Carrying firearms in an RV

    So I'm going out this New Years Eve with the family in our RV,I plan to take my SG and at least one handgun... anyone know if thats legal? Can I have them loaded? Or do I have them locked?

      What I was taught at Ben Clark...

      While the RV is on the road, it's treated like any other vehicle. So, unloaded and locked away.

      While the RV is parked, it's treated like a residence. So, loaded is okay.

              I would only add... parked at a place regularly used as a camping spot... like walmart or a campground or in your yard with the electrical hooked up... 9th circuit case... can't remember the name... guy parked by a school... arrested for possession within the killing spree zone...

                  Hmm.So I guess being in a parking lot per se in Pasadena for the Rose Parade would be a no-no?

                      probably not legal. but if its kept out of sight from the public who can report it. Police dont go and do searches of vehicles there do they?

                              No. There is a lot of LE present there especially on New Years Eve.
