Ultimate state for gun owners?? Besides TX and AZ?

I know its probably been asked a million times. Is there any other good states besides Arizona or Texas?

A place where 30 rounders are legal, automatic, etc.

    Where i can CC?

A place where theres not a million "no firearms, no steel ammo, no lead ammo" or other BS laws to oppress me?

Somewhere i can BBQ and if i decide to shoot off my AR i can?

Current places are Atlanta (not in city but outside near cartersville) and the other place is in Maine and in northern Massachusetts. These are the only places i have friends and can set up a new life in a free state. My friends in GA tell me its pretty gun friendly, they all have ARs with 30 rounders. But i really like Maine and MA better but i know they are democratic states so im not too sure....its either my hillbillyish friends in georgia or my richer friends in MA who have vacation houses and snow mobiles, skiing, too much fun. but gun friendly is a must and a priority...

i really really want to own a SBR like Sig p556 and PSD, and an AK-47, and 15 round glocks. am i dreaming?

    Thanks in advance

Stay away from MA! Terrible gun laws and restrictions. How about Vermont?

Well, forgive me, but I'm not as educated on this subject as others here...

Gun laws in Massachusetts are probably close to, if not as bad as California. Maine, I'm not so sure, but I do believe it's probably similar. New York state for example, is very similar to California, at least with High Capacity Magazines etc...

I'm not one hundred percent on this, but Virginia apparently has some fairly loose gun laws. Kentucky and Tennessee are probably good options also.

Alaska and Vermont are better than Arizona and Texas.

In both states, you can legally conceal carry without a permit and you can own NFA firearms.

IMO. (in regards to gun laws)
Alaska makes Texas feel like California.

Kentucky is where its at! They have the automatics shoot every year there. People will full on bring out tanks for that one.

Bingo. Moving to a state you've never been to based solely on it's gun scorecard isn't the smartest idea. Also, being that we are in cali, no matter where you go the laws won't be as bad as here.

From what I understand Vermont and New Hampshire have great gun laws.

                        Idaho is fairly gun friendly.
                        Rational CCW.
Unsure, but NFA is not a big thing, just follow ATF.

If you're in the Boise area it's quite nice - it's not called the "Treasure Valley" for naught. Weather gets cold in winter but it's not as severe a winter as many other places nearby (i.e., eastern Oregon from where my family hails).
