I am selling some left over .40 ammo after I sold my firearm. I intended to sale it locally FTF but a potential buyer request for me to ship it.

What are the laws and regulations on shipping ammo in CA?

At this point there's no restrictions on shipping .40 ammo to CA. UPS or FedEx Ground and it must be marked as ORM-D. Some cities do have requirements for purchasing ammo in person, but I am unaware of any shipping issues at this time.
