Has anyone gone to a RWVA shoot before? I took my girlfriend and her dad out to one on April 19 this last year. They teach you a lot of techniques to shoot at your best, and at the end of the 2nd day over 90% of the people were able to score marksman on a Army training target. It was loads of fun and they give a really good history lesson about the revolutionary war as well.

They even let people under 21, women, and vets/active military in free!

Click on register for an event now, select the area close to you, and pick the ticket that says women, children, and military free.

Looks like only active military get the fee waiver. Oh well -- have to wait until I have the extra cheeze.

Oh, i didnt notice that. I was just going off what i remember of the add that i got at a gun show. But like i said, its well worth the money and is loads of fun.

no, everyone needs to have their own rifle if you want to participate in the whole thing.

Fal, there are 2 in the Redding area next year if that's close enough.

erblo, at most shoots there are loaner rifles just let them know when you register.

Appleseeds are well worth the money, time and effort.
If you want to learn how to shoot your rifle from the standing, seated, and prone positions using only a sling for support this is for you.

The people that only shoot off of a bench are astounded at the accuracy that can be had using the techniques that are taught at an Appleseeed.

You also just might learn somthing about our American heritage and the events that lead up to the founding of this great country.

If you can't tell I strongly recomend this program.
For me it changed the way I shoot (for the better, much better) and changed my perspective towards my country and it's citizens.

Give it a try, you won't be sorry.
