    OUCH !!!

    A buddy of mine sent me this. Had to be a double charged case.

    A guy had a S&W 629 that he wanted to dispose of after a mishap at the range. He said there was a loud bang when he tested his new load and the gun smacked him in the forehead, leaving a nice gash. When the tweety birds cleared, this is what he saw.....This why it is nice to know what the guy next to you is shooting. Imagine the shrapnel scattered from the explosion.

      That is pretty massive, looks like the shells in the two adjacent holes fully detonated in the bargain. There's no cylinder strong enough to hold all that.

      It's either a double charge or he mixed up powders. Mistaking Winchester 231 for 296 will make that happen.
