Chestnut OVER T.O. or T.O over Chestnut????

Dang nabbit - I cant find what I'm looking for!

I remember reading a blurb that Chestnut ridge stain MAY be used over top of Tung Oil and/or Boiled Linseed Oil??????????

Any major difference between the two apps? I'd finnaly got off my rear and got some decent stain other than minwax, and would really like it if I didn't have to strip the Tung off the stock.....It took 3 days and tooooo many coats to count!!!!!!!!

Anyone try either of these routes? and Whats the best way to offset the red in the stain? Will R.I.T. dye work????????????/
I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered....

2.)Why is it that if guns are sooooo unsafe that you're 9 times more likely to die at the hands of your doctor?
3.)Remember...Buy it cheap & stack it deep
