Don't you just hate it when you see a great deal on an item that you really want. Since the seller has posted that he has several of these for sale, other folks have posted "I'll take one." Several days go buy with no response from the seller. THEN, the seller posts a message that clearly shows he's gotten his panties all bunched-up, "No PM's or E-mails! Geeeeee" I respect the sellers wishes and post an "I'll take one" with some additional detail, without a PM or E-mail follow-up. Well, I realize that most folks aren't on here every day, so I waited two-weeks. He's not posted any type of response to me on the thread or by PM or E-mail. He's posted on several other threads since then. After two weeks I PM'd him, still no response. The bottom line is: If you are going to offer something for sale, TAKE OWNERSHIP OF THE THREAD! Check it when you log on. Update it or delete it as appropriate. This guy is a Senior Member with over 1,300 posts.

Have run into the same problem a time or to. Actually trying to buy a item in one of the for sale forums right now. I've left a reply to thread saying PM sent, sent a PM to seller with a questioned & did receive a answer on item, left 2 PMs saying I'll take it and changed my reply to thread with I'll take It. Have not heard back in a couple of days and I know that person has been logged in since than?? Does that mean I can leave negitive feed back since deal fell through?Last edited by anyracoon; 12-18-2009, 4:40 PM.Comment

Flakes can be both ways buyer and seller.Comment

It happens. I've sold, and bought things here with almost always all positive experiences. I got hosed on a scope once and had issues with a group buy once but all in all things were made right.Comment

Definitely goes both ways.I've got an "I'll take it" that is 6 days old with no further communication from buyer.PM'd him that I have another buyer waiting. If nothing tomorrow, buyer number 2 gets the nod.I don't understand a seller not staying on top of his threads and communication.Comment

I've dealt with flakes on both ends, a lot of flake on both ends. Yes it is annoying but it's just part of forums.Comment

I guess I have been lucky... though I have to admit, I did just get a pm reminding me that I said I'll take it 3 weeks ago and forgot all about it.
