seems like most of the KB's are from glocks with an occasional AR that wasn't assembled correctly.

Agreed! Glocks are junk in my opinion and they dont even put an external safety/decocker. Save your money and buy a Sig or a H&K.

the ones I have seen were one of two issues... lead rounds shot in .45acps and short rounds in .40sw...short rounds in a 40 will make the thing go for sure....
we now have a special admin. procedure for our officers.. once a round is chambered for duty it is shot...no more unload the round and put it back in the mag...chamber it then shoot it at next range day etc...

Having a "safety/decocker" does not make a gun any more safe than one without one. Follow the rules, Keep your booger hook off the bang button, and you wont have any issues. These threads never really seem to accomplish anything. All guns fail eventually, it is not a single brand, ALL guns will KB. The unsupported chamber in the GLOCK seems to lead to more reports of these problems than other designs. However they are not junk, and there are many people with tens of thousands of uneventful rounds down range from their GLOCKS. Between my three GLOCK 22's I have about 20k rounds downrange with ZERO issues, I mean nothing! They are pretty amazing pistols.

Anybody who's scared that their Glock will blow up in their hand can send it to me and I'll disarm it for them. Make sure you send ammo also - 80K rounds of ammo might just do it (wear it out, that is).
I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!

Glocks are awesome guns. Just because they have the reputation of being super durable doesn't mean they should not be cleaned and maintained well like any other gun.

a decocker for a glock makes no sense it operates like one of those nato switchblades
or say a spring loaded centerpunch
they dont just go off the act of pulling the trigger is what gives the trigger spring the power

WWB seems to have poor quality. I had a squib with some 9mm WWB.
