I've been kicking around putting together a sort of all around defense/camping/jeep/fun gun for those times i'm just woods bumming, camping, fishing or just doing a little 4 wheeling. I'm thinking since i already have a 23 i could have a .40 for defense, a .22 conversion kit for plinking and small game, and, if i can find a complete slide assambly, a 9mm because it's one of my favorite plinking calibers, and with the right round, a good self defense round.
I know i could pack three different guns, i have several in .22 and 9mm, but i just like the idea of having a sort of all in one combo. And since room is always a consideration when packing the jeep for a several day trip, a small case would be easier to stash than a larger one.
Anyone know where i could get a complete 19 slide assembly?
