Couple friends and I are trying to put together a shoot for us CA guys out in the Nevada desert. Why in Nevada you ask, plan is to shoot a bunch of tannerite and don't want to run into some CA cop or ranger that doesn't know any better and bust us.

I registered on your site but probably won't be able to make it this year.

Plus I'm still cleaning the dust out of my gear.

Now I just need to wait for the admin to approve me.

I know I would be interested in shooting with others. It just depends where and when.

Update, This is turning into a Nor/So CA shoot. If you interested in going please stop on by. While we havn't selected a location yet the shoot is going to take place in CA.

What is the story with tannerite? It appears that it is legal federally and they will ship to California. It appears that you suggesting it is legal to use, but the hassle of dealing with cops who will assume it is illegal is too much to deal with. While I probably agree with the second part, I was thinking tannerite would be illegal. Is it legal?

tannerite is legal in CA. A CA cop might not know that and that holds true for any place you may go.

Tannerite, as I understand it, is a binary explosive.

Thus the "A" and "B" components might be legal independently but not when mixed in CA.

This might include Federally too.

Can Tannerite Co. show you exemptions in CA or Fed law?

No matter how fun it is, I wouldn't touch it with a 100ft pole.
