Aight so I'm goin to the paso gunshow tommorow and need a quick answer. I have only been to one gunshow, in SC along time ago and it was big. Alot of the vendors their took credit card, but i'm wondering at a small one like this if it is all cash only? Anyone with small or semi small gunshow experience plz chime in.

Cash is KING at the shows. Also there isn't a nice credit card paper trail to show that you bought something there.

many vendors now have portable credit card machines that they can operate via a cell phone, but as mentioned above, Cash is King. YOu can always find a vendor willing to take cash, but not all have CC capability.
And most venues will have ATM machines so that you can get more Cash, if need be.
plus, some/many/most vendors base their prcing to reflect a cash discount, and using a CC can cost you an additional 3% or so.Last edited by ke6guj; 12-13-2009, 2:42 AM.Jack
