    Yugo SKS parts help?

    Hey everybody,

I was wondering if anybody knew where I could get a part for my yugo sks. I've stripped the "nut" (the one that conects to the crossbolt to remove the stock) when I was puting the rifle back together. Any help would be great. Thanks!

FYI, and for anyone else out there, you don't need to remove the crossbolt to remove the stock. The crossbolt only reinforces the stock and often does break upon removal.
If it was a snake, it would have bit me.

I know I'm a bone head. It only took me 2 rifles to figure that out (I guess I'm not the bightest.) Anyone have any help for the broken part for my yugo???

        Thanks again everyone

I get lots of my small parts from Numrich - http://www.e-gunparts.com/model.asp?idDept=229

They screw up the order now and again, but they're helpful about fixing it. They're especially good for obscure stuff.

You could also put "sks parts" (with quotes) into google; the first hit was - surprise! - http://www.sksparts.com. Don't know how their prices compare, but Aim, Sarco, and Tapco also come up, and they're all good folks.

            Thanks maxicon,

Exactly what I needed. Placed an order tonight.
