Gift Ideas for a New Gunner?

I've been trying to think of something to get my dad for Christmas this year. He's already got the basics like a range bag, pistol safe and basic cleaning gear.

He's got a 1911, a p226 and a Super Ruger Redhawk, so I was kinda thinking of picking him up something for one of his guns. He's got a light/laser combo on his 226 but not one for his 1911. So there's that option.

Anyone have any good advice for a gift? My budget is probably about $150 so nothing too crazy >.>

His front sight on the 1911 popped off recently, maybe I'll pick up a TFO front sight, he seems to like the one on his 226.

    Arg, so hard!

Ammo and a gift card to a range. It's what my wife usually gets me, and I'm always happy.

Get him the front sight of his choice for his 1911 and a nice holster for it too.

How about a set of Pro Ears. It just so happens I have a brand new set never taken out of the box retail is $329. You can have them for $200.00.

There are alot of nice custom grips that could dress up his 1911. Proper shooting glasses, extra magazines (always appreciated), maybe a deluxe cleaning kit (mine get gnarly after a while), holster(s), a nice gunbelt to wear with the holster or, of course, ammo.

That Super Redhawk could probably use a good scope to go with the rings that came with it. I prefer a 2X but one of my single shot pistols has a 2-7X for busting varmints.

Actually, thinking about it, magazines might be the way to go. His Sig-issued magazines for his 1911 seem a bit crappy and he's only got two for his 226.

He's already got a huge range bag with more pockets than a pita factory. His Red Hawk came with a scope so that's out I think.

                          Thanks for the advice guys.
