Botach Tactical = Order Annoyance

Not sure if anyone else has this problem with them... but their order processing speed and communication is crap in my experience. They have solid prices and once they ship I get it in no time since they are in LA as well, but man, I placed an order a week and a half ago and still nothing. I followed up with "Shannon" twice to get a status update and she says she'll get back to me and never does. After a third attempt today, she finally says one thing is not in stock and would I like the rest of my order shipped? Umm...... yes I would thank you...

Anyway, gotta rant. Good prices, poor speed of service in my experience. YMMV.

UPDATE: As of recently Dan from Botach went above and beyond and shipped me an extra KaBar knife on my last order for free. Definitely helps make good, thanks Dan. I will continue to use Botach but would suggest us little guys contact Dan directly if you can so our orders don't get lost in the mix.

I'll never shop there again. I don't care what their prices are.

Yea I hear ya... couldn't escape the prices and I'm paying for it now lol. Nowhere else has certain things nearly as cheap as they do.

I've heard nothing but bad things about Botach- not just form this forum but others as well. I would NEVER order anything from them. I wouldn't even take anything for free if all I had to do was cover the shipping...

Dan- you guys get 1000s of orders a day? REALLY? Thousands? I'm not sure botachtactical.net even gets that much traffic... and your bounce rate is over 60%. You'd have to get over 100,000 hits/day to get "thousands" of orders/day.

If you guys really want to bring your rep up you should just type "botachtactical.net" into Google. About 1/2 the SERP is complaints about orders, when most other sites will return internal links for the first SERP.

My one experience with them was good. Had my stuffs by the end of the week.

I've been dealing with Botach Tactical for years and have had nothing but good experiences...and their new Botach Defense site has great prices.

As for the 1,000's of orders...I can see that. They get a lot of their business from Government Agencies (local, State, Feds) who use purchase orders...I know my Department did. We bought from them all the time, plus we, as individuals, would walk in all the time to buy personal stuff.

Hope the OP takes the Dan up on his offer and gives them a chance to make it right!

I've done dozens of orders from botach, haven't had an issue until recently. The I was checking the stock on an item no longer listed on the website. The customer service person snapped back at me and said "What do you think!?"



Probably blew like $600 all together on their catalog in the last year and half.

I used Botach whenever the deal is just too good to pass up. Since they stopped charging before shipping, I'll take the gamble. Truth be told, I've never had a problem with them. Since you're buying with a card, just dispute the charges.

Ehhh... emailed Dan, he said he was sorry and to email him in the future, but that's it. Not much to rectify it. It's sad cause I like Botach, but this is just leaves a bad taste, we'll see what I decide in the future. Glad to hear not everyone has problems.

When did that policy start? I Ordered about two months ago and... oh wait that's right it was charged and "shipped" same day yet never actually was shipped... week later no response to E-mail, and the obligatory "we'll check on it and call you back" when calling... but hey it only took three days to get my money back after I told them to cancel the order.

Really, though, I guess I've just been lucky. I hear plain awful stuff about them every day from honest folk. It's just plain luck on my part, I s'pose.
