    ME.

Jokes aside: I almost got mine from Big 5- they're rarely out, but their prices do jump around a bit... lately I've been only 20 mins from a Cabela's in Glendale, AZ so I just get it there. Cabela's has had federal 525 round boxes in stock for about $19 for months now...

It's really not hard to find. Not like surplus 7.62NATO...

50 packs at 9mm prices, ya... but I looked for the bulk packs all summer and it wasn't around.

I think you have made a few other posts saying that the walmart around you always has ammo. I find this hard to believe, unless this is some hidden walmart that nobody knows about.

if thats the nickel cased stuff then good luck with that. its the only ammo in the world that wouldnt cycle my marlin 60. luckily i only bought a 50 pack from walmart to try it out in my pistol. that was a lost cause so it moved to the 60. failed miserably there too. so we lined it up and shot cci minimags at it with my p22.
                good times!
lukily i have plenty of 22lr. and i wouldnt mind paying 20 a box at like cabelas. but all my local stores around here have it and they want 30 a box. f that. i wait for walmart to get it. and i rarely buy them out cause i need the whole militia to be armed. not just me.

Highland is horrible for 22, i dont think i've ever seen it there, but they are good for handgun sometimes.

well went to reeds indoor range tonite and they had 3 diff in stock.

bought a box of each to play around with the gsg 5 and see which one it likes the most...

on a side note... how come there arent no snap caps for 22lr? ones they had for sale there, was for unloading and loading mags for practice only...

                      weird.

Nope, it's brass. I ordered on 12/1 and UPS delivered it today. $6.95 per pack of 100. No tax but $16.39 shipping.

Because the .22lr is not a center fire round, hard to place a ring of rubber around the base that wouldn't pop off or mess up over time.

same goes for .17hmr or any rimfire rounds for that matter.

I have seen people use the .22lr caps, it just mars the rim of the round and you have to throw them out after several uses.

If you don't like getting lucky or running a round town,

Federal 22 LR 36 GR Copper Plated HP Value Pack 525 rd. $ 15.99

good prices and if you use the code it pretty much pays for shipping.
