    Anvil Arms problems

Well it looks like Anvil Arms did screw me over on my last order. They sent a standard buffer with my complete lower rather than the heavy buffer that I ordered. I had been trying to contact Jon to get a refund for the $30 mistake for the last 2 weeks with no response. Many people over on AR15.com have also had problems trying to get ahold of him for weeks now. He has since taken down his contact info on their website, deleted most if not all negative post on the Anvil Arms section and has taken his contact info on AR15.com off the site. Looks like he may be closing down.

I also had a great experience with Anvil. They have seemed to be shut down the past month or so. They are supposedly out of lowers and they have been pulling down adds and pics from all the boards. They're a great company and have great products, its too bad if they're having problems.

I've had good experiences with Anvil Arms.

The last time I've corresponded with them was a month ago, and they mentioned that they're getting overworked and are under staffed. It took them a while to respond to my emails.

Try giving them a call. I wouldn't write them off just yet.

I have tried calling many times and left several messages and gotten no response. Im pretty sure they are done with a lein against them and an auction to sell their property. It also shows them moving to a new location which happens to be a residential property.

They've been very good to me up until about a month ago. Then nothing.

Jon had stated a few months ago this summer that they were having financial issues due to dealers placing large orders for lowers during the winter and then canceling the orders when they were in stock. Jon was sitting on tens of thousands of dollars of product and nothing was moving because the dealers that ordered from him *****ed out on their order. He said the next 6-12 months will dictate who in the AR15 industry will survive. Said a lot of the small guys without LE or military clients will hurt bad or close.

And SNEAKS, the San Jose Ave address is the address of the Registered Agent. The Registered Agent of an LLC is the person that deals with all paperwork related to the company, ie when the state sends the business something, they send it to the Registered Agent at the Registered Agent's listed address on the LLC filing papers. The business isn't moving to that address, that's just the address of the person that handles paperwork and official documents for the LLC. The address there is of the manager whom holds the lien against Anvil Arms LLC.

The registered agent can also be one of the owners (members) or managers, depending if the LLC is organized as a member managed LLC or manager managed LLC. The member managed LLC is when the owners/partners run the company. The manager managed LLC is when the owners sit back and let other people run it, sort of like the owners are merely investors but have ultimate say/control in what the managers do.
