"Did I say "republic?" By God, yes, I said "republic!" Long live the glorious republic of the United States of America. Damn democracy. It is a fraudulent term used, often by ignorant persons but no less often by intellectual fakers, to describe an infamous mixture of socialism, miscegenation, graft, confiscation of property and denial of personal rights to individuals whose virtuous principles make them offensive." - Westbrook Pegler -
That's why you don't skip the dinner part.
If he's that whipped, he probably doesn't give it to her much because he's not motivated... so she's probably receptive. A couple of glasses of wine with a cheap steak from Black Angus and you're as good as in the Jacuzzi over at the Princess
LOL dude they even have a in ground jacuzzi in their back yard LOLComment

I say screw him for the $100.00 bucks and have him hate you for as long as you live there. NO neighbor or friendship is worth $100.00..
Maybe he is using his wife as an excuse because he knows you will complain about the $100.00 otherwise? You know people do change their minds and I can't even think of screwing one of my neighbors over for any amount of money. The fact you even took a "non-refundable" deposit from a neighbor either say's a lot about them, or you.
So really.. Do you need to have a poll to do the right thing??Last edited by joepamjohn; 12-03-2009, 6:50 PM."You can't handle the truth"Comment

Let him have the money back. You have it extra. PM me on how much for the SKS.Comment

I'd give him the money back after I sold the rifles ans would tell him that upfront.
If I needed a deposit to feel ike I could ensure the sale, I wouldn't do it.If it was a snake, it would have bit me.

I tried. His wife wont let him. I snuck him out once quickly to the firing line and he had fun. Thats whyhe wanted to buy my guns
No youre right I didnt need to poll to see if im doing the right thing. Thats the thing what is the right thing. Shoudl I keep what is rightfully mine since the man did make a deal OR give it back just to not hear the whining. And NO he is definately NOT using his wife as a excuse. The non refundable deposit was basically because he strung me along with the purchazse AND I know how his wife is. I sold him a camera system for his house and she bit**ed and complained until i dropped 300$ off the cost ( that was after we had a signed contract). Either way i gave him back the hundred bucks. its not worth it to me to deal with the headache of 100$. Just a question. What does a non refundable deposit say about me? I coudl see if i was a business and I sold you a faulty piece of equipment or you didnt really need it etc but this is a private sale. When was the last time you bought something and then returned it to a private party simply because you couldnt really afford it or your wife said you cant have it? And if you did bring it back did the guy give you your money back or did he say screw youI say screw him for the $100.00 bucks and have him hate you for as long as you live there. NO neighbor or friendship is worth $100.00..

$100.00 is not going to change my quality of life so to me this is a non-issue. I can see if the $100.00 is a "eat or no eat" situation. This sounds like it is more of principle than anything else. You do not mention any of this past history in your OP. Had you offered some of this history you would have seen different replies (including mine). My suggestion is just do not do business of any kind with him..It is quite interesting that you mention he is a ball less whiner that is controlled by his wife (that you want to hump) and screwed you for $300.00 on a business deal, then you also mention he is a nice guy and you even took him shooting with you. It all seems a little strange to me.I tried. His wife wont let him. I snuck him out once quickly to the firing line and he had fun. Thats whyhe wanted to buy my guns

In the end, you did the right thing and are a better man for it. Now just don't get into any more business deals with the guy since he has proven more than once to be a flake.

That's a vivid image. You know I was just thinking I should get some revenge sex out of it. I figure a date these days runs 100$ in cost so ill just skip the dinner part and go straight to the humping. But Im afraid she would just snap it off.
She is pretty cute but a total B***H. Just one of those stuck up Cali wanna be rich B*8chsigpic

Just to clear up in case I may of mis spoke. he is not the problem. He would have no problem paying me. He had the cash but his wife woudlnt let him get the guns.
Its not him that is the problem he had no problem paying me. His wife is the problem IMO. he did not know anything about her wanting a discount after the deal was done. he was on a buss trip at the time. I guess saying he whined was sort of strong but its just a figure of speech. its not liek he came over with a nazal whine and cried on my shoulder. As for humping his wife have you actually ever heard of GUY TALKING. Personally it woudlnt matter how hot she was her crappy outlook/*****y atitude automatically drops about 90% of her hot points. And no I actually wouldnt hump his wife. it was a figure of speech jeezLast edited by Rob454; 12-03-2009, 9:09 PM.Comment

Should have gone over & just given the wife, the $100 directly.Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...
I belong to the group that uses firearms, and knows which bathroom to use.
Tis better to have Trolled & lost, Than to never have Trolled, at all.
