    WWYD

What would you do in this scenario.
My neighbor was supposed to buy my SKS and my mossberg 500 HD. I had them posted here and he said he wants them Gave me 50$ to hold them than another 50$. Now he came by and told me his wife wont let him get the guns cause of the kids bla bla bla. When I first made the deal I told him the money is non refundable weather he purchases the rifles or not its not refundable. He agreed to the terms of the sale. Well of course now he wants his money back.
SO should I just give him his money back or tell him tough tittie you made a deal not my fault? he never had posession of the guns at any time during the so called sale. He was supposed to have me paid off yesterday but he just came by today with the sob story. To refund the 100$ is not a big deal
Just sort of p****s me off cause this guy told me I want them really really bad and now he is crying liek a little girl.
So should I keep the money OR give him MY 100$ simply to avoid his crying. I doubt this guy is a retaliatory kind of a person. He knows that he is the first person I would confront. besides I have cameras allover the exterior of my house.

Give him his money back. For 100 bucks you want to make an enemy out of a neighbor? Sheesh.

Your neighbor lives with a gun hating *****. Just be a nice guy and give him the $100. You can still sell the firearms.

Although you are in the right should you choose to keep his money, I would just go ahead with the refund. If for no other reason than to avoid drama/awkwardness in the future, plus it's a good idea to be on good terms with neighbors.

Not trying to be one but a deal is a deal IMO. His "kids" are both 19 year old girls. Were not talking 6 year olds here.
Im gonna go by there and give him his hundred back. i wonder if I should verbally cut his nuts off. Oh wait his wife already did that.
Either way when I see his car ( toyota prius yup you read it right) His wife drives a Explorer so that should give youa idea of who has the nut sack in the family im gonna go and hand him a crisp nice 100 $ bill.

If he's been a good neighbor in the past, give him his money back. If he hasn't been a good neighbor, keep it. A man's word is a verbal contract. It's not your fault that he doesn't have it in him to stand up to his wife. Besides, you may have missed the opportunity to sell these weapons to someone else. His actions could end up costing you money.

The guy asks a question and you guys rip him for it.

How about, if you tell someone something or agree to terms with someone, you actually live up to your word/terms?

I don't know, I'm probably in the minority here.

                          Agreed.

If you were holding off other offers and you needed the money to pay bills and such, then I would agree with enforcing the terms of the agreement, but if you haven't turned away any other sale opportunities, I don't see a reason to make an enemy over $100.

OTOH... how much are you asking for the Mossy, and can I apply his $100 toward my purchase?

Always take the 'High Road'. Give him the $ back.
Your neighbor has just sold his own reputation for $100. Yours is worth way more than that ;-).
Everybody will eventually know the guy is a 'Douche Bag'. The fact that he is trying to get a refund speaks 'volumes'.
BTW, get him to register on Calguns so you can give really negative feedback on iTrader.
