    trigger jobs

I recently bought a Vector mini Uzi pistol. While I love the way it looks, and the ruggedness of the thing, I hated the trigger.

I saw some posts on the Uzi talk forum about trigger jobs from Bill Springfield and gave him a ring. The quoted price was $39.00 including the return postage.

I got the trigger assembly back from my Mini Uze a few weeks back and its a very noticable change. Turn around time was two weeks round trip.

First, the pretravel has been shortened by around 70%. Also, the break is much cleaner. The actual pull of the trigger to make it break is still way up there compared to my Berettas, but its probably 60%-70% of what it was stock.

This experaince just goes to show there are still good deals in the USA

    Here is bill's email address

I liked the results of my mini trigger job so I sent my trigger assembly from my Uzi carbine to Bill for a trigger job. When I unwrapped the returned parts I was disappointed as it looked like not a thing had been done.

I slapped it on the lower and racked it...and pulled the trigger...very little if any pretravel and a nice crisp break around 5 pounds...amazing.

I highly recommend this, while its not like a RRA 2 stage match trigger it is way better than my HK USC triggers...

Makes the Uzi a very accurate short range gun in the right hands.
I love America for the rights and freedoms we used to have.
