From what I have seen, for many gun owners the only kind of sensual oils they have ever used are Hoppes #9 so I would not be surprised that many would prefer guns over women. 
Me, I prefer soft skin over cold steel. One thing that I would say is if either are disrespected, they both have the potential to kill you.
