    Tactical side by side shotgun

I saw one of these in Rettings the other day and just had to chuckle inside. If CA ever gets to the point where something like this is the only viable home defense option, it is way past time to move out of here.

handled one the other day...pretty neat... except it was a 20 ... waiting to see a 12 and then may buy it for "quail hunting"... or something...

Well, maybe I ought to get one of those flint-lock musket kits and paint the stock black with some truck-bedliner and screw some rails onto it and slap an eotech on it and have myself a tacticool revolutionary musket!

Funny thing is, the companies that make this stuff shouldn't be scoffed at. It's all of us consumers that deserve it. They only produce this junk because we the consumer want to buy it. This stuff is really no different then all of the other 'tacticool' crap all over the place.

Most civilization is based on cowardice. It's so easy to civilize by teaching cowardice. You water down the standards which would lead to bravery. You restrain the will. You regulate the appetites. You fence in the horizons. You make a law for every movement. You deny the existence of chaos. You teach even the children to breathe slowly. You tame.

Hunting game animals with a light mounted on the gun is generally illegal.
Guns with lights on them are generally for hunting 2 legged varmints.

Looks pretty cool, I was in the market for a side by side but I couldn't stand the finishes on some coach guns.but then with a shotgun you just point in the direction you want and still hit your target.

Doubl barrel shotguns are actually not a bad home defense weapon, and they certainly are simple to use. This company has a good idea, although I think these shotguns could use exposed hammers and perhaps ghost ring sights.
