So last night i went to my family's Thanksgiving get together as usual and i talked with my great aunt for a while. When i mentioned that i have recently bought a gun safe she told me that she wanted to give me her guns that she has!!! There is about ten of them and i'm not sure what most of them are but one is her favorite pre-64 model 70 featherweight and another is an old shotgun that her grandpa used to hunt rabbits with. Looks like all my new black guns are gonna have to make room for some older and wiser classics!

Not a chance! I'm only 26 but somehow i have about 30 guns but now more like 40! I just bought a smaller Cannon Safe with the intention of demoting it to the ammo safe once i get more settled and get a massive Halls safe made up for me. Now im gonna have to cram all my handguns to the top shelf then take the lower shelves out to make room for rifles. Having a safe that is too full of guns is the best "problem" i have ever had!Comment

Ooh, that's my wet dream. A juicy turkey and loved ones passing their old antique firearms to me. Treat that pre-64 very gently. It may well be the most expensive gun in your collection.

Congratulations on the score.
Just an opinion on the safe issue, I currently have a Halls safe (30x60) I purchased in '89. Wonderful piece of art and a great safe. My ex wife bought an American Security (36x60) for half the price and twice the features. Thicker door, larger and more bolts, deeper than my Halls and looks beautiful to boot.
Don't get me wrong, I love my Halls, but if I were to do it again (and I might, as I'm now short on long gun room) I'd buy the AS.
