Shoot a guy, get 4 months

This is great precedent. Now I can go around shooting the most annoying people.

Cereal, that judge really was lenient in sentencing him. Shooting a guy who is walking away from you after you instigated an argument with them!

    aargh!

There are a lot of AHOLE bike riders I would like to shoot when they take up entire lanes slowing or blocking traffic.

WHAT! No mandatory 5 year enhancement for using a firearm in a crime?

Would the result have been the same if the cyclist had shot the fireman?

With penalties like this one I can see why there are more and more shootings. I love the part where the Fireman had to pay his victim $1800.00 for hearing damage. Was that for the verbal exchange or the .38 slug that bounced off his bike helmet? LOL.

The title reminds me of Walter Brennan's line in "My Darling Clementine":
"When ya pull a gun, kill a man!"

Now, playing devil's advocate, if the baby was indeed in a dangerous seat and the firefighter believed tht that the baby was in immediate danger of harm or death; would it be a crime NOT to shoot him?

Ummmmm. That would be no. Just what we need, "Rambo" the bike cop standing at the trail head shooting parents for issues he deems unsafe for THEIR kids.
