Was just reading another post on whether people used their OLLs for HD... One post mentioned that in the event of a HD shooting where you killed a BG you would most likely get ALL of your firearms confiscated.. Anybody know if this is correct? just wondering? If anyone has been involved in this would you care to inform.. thanks

Why would all of your firearms be confiscated? Only the one used to neutralize the threat posed by the invader is needed as evidence.

If the rest of your guns are locked in the safe or otherwise out of view there's no reason for the responding officers to concern themselves with them. How would they even know you have other guns unless you volunteer that information? Lawyer up.

Rule #1 - Don't talk to the cops.
You are going to be shaken up by the incident and the last thing you want to do is give a statement of any kind in that condition.
"Here's my gun, there's the intruder, I fired 4 rounds in that direction (so they can check for collateral damage at the neighbor's place). I will fully cooperate and will be happy to speak with you in 24 hours."

You fired because you were in fear for your life, and that adrenalin is still screwing up your thinking and will impact your answers.

There is no reason for the cops to know that you have any other weapons in the house.
