When I lived in AZ I had a wash about 50 feet outside my back door where we went shooting. After my kids were about 12, the rule was that they could shoot when they got home from school if no friends came home with them. If there were friends with them, they had to wait until their mother or I got home.People don't like to be meddled with. We tell them what to do, what to think, don't run, don't walk. We're in their homes and in their heads and we haven't the right. We're meddlesome.
