bast place to shoot in Vegas?

I am flying a client down to Vegas and will have a 2 day layover. I'm bringing my AR-15 and would like to rent some full auto rifles down there. Can any one recommend a good outdoor range with long distance targets over 100 yards. Or their favorite ranges in that area indoor or outdoor.

She will be liberated when we get there, radlock unscrewed, ahhhh.

    Thanx everyone.

There is a huge outdoor range in Vegas. It's called the desert.

1000' from any highway or dwelling. Have fun! I suggest shooting towards a good backstop, though, like a hill or mountain.

The fate of the wounded rest in the hands of the ones who apply the first dressing.

Just for clarity before I answer, will congress be in session or back at home in their districts during your visit?

I went to American shooters and rented a few full autos, it rocked! No supervision, they asked me if I knew how they worked, and let me go play. It might of helped rolling in there with the Vegas morning newscaster at the time. All the guys were drooling over her and didn't care what I did.

good link, and also went searching on BLM website and got a rough map, and also specific areas that are closed to shooting.

looks like my choices is the area right between Sloan and jean airport on the I-15 which hopefully isn't too bad of a drive from my friend's place on blue diamond.

EDIT: would that area right above the big white spot and below the concrete factory that is near Jean be ok to shoot at toward the mountains? since we do not have access to a SUV only a sedan, we need to stick to somewhat established "roads" (ie paved dirt)

Do a Google search and look up the ranges. I know there was a gun range in South West Vegas on the Highway 160 that advertised full auto rentals. Not sure what they would charge and such but I want to go there when we go back next time. If your friend is on Blue Diamond that is right by that range if your in the south part.

want to cut costs for shooting if i got my own guns to shoot.

will visit one of the indoor ranges to shoot the fun guns, but not all the time.
