I Miss B&B's Pads of Targets for a Buck...

I miss B&B Sales... They used to sell pads of pistol targets with orange centers for a dollar a pad. I broke a pad out today while at the local indoor range and found that they were easier to see than the regular tan backed targets (better reflection of the available light). Does anyone have a line on cheap pads of pistol targets??? AAA Outdoorsman also had pads of targets as well... Seems like great advertising for a gun shop. Would any of you know where to find any? Please let me know! Thank you.

Go to Kinko's and run off some copies.

Better yet, print them yourself. Here is a link to a bunch of printable targets.

If someone has a gun and is trying to kill you, it would be reasonable to shoot back with your own gun.

But do you miss B&B Sales' special brand of so-called "customer service"?

I never had trouble, but heard many horror stories and some some in person.

I never had a problem. I shopped in the North Hollywood store for years and later the Westminster location. I would always go straight to the consignment cases where I found a lot of cool stuff through the years. I do not need to be coddled, take my money, complete the paperwork correctly, and give me my stuff... The N. Hollywood store was about forty minutes from my home and I made the pilgrimage often. I bought Nill grips for $36, those were the days.

Back on subject, Ade's doesn't have pads of cheap targets by chance do they? I've never been there. I appreciate the advice about printing or copying my own, but I don't think I could do it for a dollar on decent stock. Cool site though for the targets, thank you!

Same here! Ditto on all of the above. Used to deal with Ralph, Don, and Rich mostly. I find it's the same way with Turners. I hear complaints and have read some posted here over the last 2 days, but personally have never had problems. I know what I want before I hit the door - no questions - do the paperwork - 10 days - pick-up - done.

I dealt with Mark C. and earlier Greg C. I'm 48 years old, I remember prices that were so incredibly low in retrospect. Someday guys will say that these were the days (now). Its sad to think what has happened to our pastime.
