    Lock and Load HBO

Saw portions of this last nite for the first time. I was hoping for a show that would put gun ownership in a good light. Boy was I wrong. The owner of the gun store routinely aims guns at people. At one point as a customer walks into the store he aims the gun at him & in a joking voice tells him "hands up".
He lets a kid hit another kid with a stun gun.
He's tells a lady to a .45 instead of a 9mm cuz the .45 will blow the bad guy out of his shoes.
I know this supposed to be for entertainment but this make gun owners look irresponsible.

I have to agree, the guy is an idiot.

When he was giving his 9 vs 45 speach I was shaking my head and thinking what an *****hat this guy was.

This is on Showtime, and simply put--it's entertaining. There's no need to scoff at it in my opinion. Plus there's a ton of threads already started before the show ever aired.

Next weeks episode he gets robbed! He is talking about how all these dangerous guns are now in the hands of criminals and they will NEVER be recovered.

I loved the one where the female turned to her boyfriend, pointed the gun at him with her finger on the trigger and made a joking threat! There I am screaming NO like the cornerman in Rocky even before she pointed the gun at him.

I forced myself to watch two full episodes back to back. I was hoping to find some small part that would be decent. The only positive thing I saw was the older lady shooting a nice group with her pistol to beat the guy from the show. That wasn't enough to move my rating of the show up from nauseating to pitiful. It does not surprise me, that a show from the US media is going to portray all parts of the "gun culture" badly. The part that troubles me is that as these so-called reality shows progress they have to have more and more controversy to keep their fans satisfied, and if the show is this bad already I don't want to see what it degrades into.
