    Bedside Safe

I don't know if anyone else would find this useful, but this safe fits inside my nightstand perfectly and sells for under $90: http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product...=1&topnav=&s=1

Not as fast to access as a biometric or palm print, but it works for me and allows enough room for several guns and mags.

I take it you have children in the house. Otherwise, no need for a safe by your bed. I can't recommend a safe, But I can say that a loaded pistol on your nightstand is better than 3 in a safe. Good luck getting to it if you ever need to.

I don't have any kids or roommates... BUT:
I can't have someone breaking into my place during the day while I'm at work... stealing my Glock, and using it improperly.

That mild paranoia is enough to send me to Costco Burbank this weekend.
      Be safe, have fun.

I also don't have any kids in the house. My bedside gun is on my night stand at night. When I leave the house its on my hip. My gun safe has my other firearms. Good advise on E-bay. Unless you want it ASAP.

Snap the holster on in the evening, pop the whole thing off and put it in the safe every morning.

I too put my Beretta on the nightstand at night. I put the safe in the nightstand as a matter of convenience. In general, the closer and easier something is, the more likely I am to do it. I just didn't like going downstairs to the gun safe every time to retrieve or return the pistol, so the small safe in the nightstand made it much more convenient.
