    ar's and a mustache

    do you guys with ar's that have 6 pos. stocks and have a mustache or beards get hairs caught in the stock? my stash gets caught between the tube and stock and hurts like hell. anybody else have that problem?

          Nope, but I know that Vltor stocks and beards/mustaches don't go together.
          Either put a piece of duct tape on the stock where your cheek goes, or trade out the stock for an LMT sopmod.

            I have a mustache and a goatee and a Magpul CTR stock and I get the same thing.

                    I have a Vltor, no problem, just put a thin coat of black RTV (Room Temperature Vulcanization, silicone) along the battery tubes that pinch your hair. Wipe of the excess, no problem, hardly notice it.

                      Mine gets caught between the buffer tube and the stock itself. Lately when I have been at the range I have just been draping a towel over the area.

                              Can you fill the crack/gap with some black silicone or clear silicone? Or use some 3M blue masking tape. Comes off with no residue so the stock wont be full of tape adhesive
