What do you think of this

i am thinking of buying another barely used 45 caliber ruger P90. The box says special edition not sure what is special about it. But it matches the one I already have. adding to the package 1050 rounds of Winchester brass 45 caliber ammo. 50 and 100 round boxes.my buddy wants basically 400 for the gun and 525 for the ammo. total of 925$. Seems liek a fair asking price? the gun sells new for about 480$ and the ammo is on par ( actually little lower) than stores. Winchester ammo seems to be about 30$ + tax for a 50 rund box so 33$ per box give or take 50 cents. I know he barely used the gun since I was the only one who took him out shooting and he maybe maybe has 100 rounds through it. its basically BNIB

he asked me if that's a fair asking price and I told him let me ask the experts and ill get back to him.

Ruger semi-auto pistols are well made, but they are ugly.

Life is too short to collect ugly guns.

No, it's not a good deal. A used P- anything is $250-$350. Special editions from Ruger usually mean nothing, as there are plenty of distributor exclusives and limited editions floating around in Ruger world.

I wouldn't pay over $300 for the gun, and there's no way 1050 rounds of .45 is worth $625 to me.

Good to know. The funny thing he sold it to his BIL for that amount. I told him he made out.
