    38 s&w special CTG

    Hello,
I have 38 S&W special CTG that my friend wants to buy, but i don't know how much it's worth. Can you guys please help me with it? The potential buyer is a good friend of mine. I not willing to make money off of him. However, I'd like to sell it for a fair price. It's a three inch barrel with a five rounds cylinder. On the barrel it says "38 s&w special CTG" Next to the cylinder it says "mod. 60" On the grip it starts serial # starts with AEUXXXX. It's in a good condition and less than 500 rounds fired. Once again, thanks for your input and your knowledge in advance.

      Something like this?

What is the "dash number"? On the crane, it should say "Mod. 60-?" That'll help in making an assessment.

It does not have a "dash number" It just says"mod. 60" It does look like your picture with an original wooden grip.

          Hi

Are you sure on the serial number? Barrel length?

Per SCSW yours should be around 1983 but I don't think the 3" barrel on the 60 came until 1990.
