    are "Sack Ups" worth using?

I need a way to protect my firearms in my over packed safe. While the obvious solution is to buy another safe, that isn't going to happen any time soon.
Are those "Sack Up" things any good? I believe they are impregnated with silicon, do they leave a residue on metal or do anything bad to wood?

Any other opinions good or bad about them?

    Thanks!

They help prevent "safe rash" caused by bumping guns together when taking them in and out of the safe, along with preventing other bumps and bruises due to handling. This alone makes them worth the price of admission. The rust-prevention help from the silicone is gravy on top of that.

Not to mention, for the married guys, they can camouflage new acquisitions from notice

They are awesome. Protection from banging around, and from rust. Use them on all my guns.

Use them on all my ARs and on guns I seldom shoot in order to prevent safe crash/scratches. I use the BoreStores brand. They also have smaller sizes that fit extra uppers.

I've purchased some without logos recently (in the past 2 months) at one of two Sacramento area gun stores. Sorry I can't tell you which one for sure because I've been visiting a few as of late. I'm fairly certain it was Rancho Cordova Guns though. If not it was Cordova Shooting Center. Crud, on second thought it could have been Big 5. I'm fairly certain I got one (pistol size) at Big 5. They're out there. I think I may have even seen them at Wal-Mart before without logos. Don't know what brand it was, but I've only seen the same brand everywhere I've been. Hope that helps. If nothing else a few phone calls might help you locate a few.

I like the logos because they give you a white area to write the gun's make and caliber on that's easier to see than those little tags on the end.

Are there any gun socks that fit AR-15s with scopes? Brands or links appreciated
