    For you CA "AK" guys.....

I am thinking about selling some parts to make shooting your fixed mag AK's much easier if there is enough interest. One product will be an easy load mag similar to what you see on a Ruger MK .22LR pistol ( I beleive someone here already made one for his rifle) and there may also be an integrated mag-lok on this mag that requires no modification to your gun, yet still requires a tool to release the mag. Also included in the kit will be a modified safety lever that will hold your bolt open when the bolt is manually pulled rearward and then the safety flipped up. Basically a notch in the lever that holds the bolt.

If it's cheap, and there are no modifications necessary, I'll take one for sure. I think a lot of AK owners would as well.

For some of us, that might require a gunsmith to install.

I KNOW that any type of product that made re-loading your "attachable" mag AK would sell like hotcakes. I was reading a thread on here a few weeks ago and people were buying little machined parts (that looked like a pain-in-the-*** to use) from some other forum member for 20 bucks a pop. Personally, the lack of a bullet-tip mag lock device or something similar is what is driving my decision to build an OLL AR15 rather than an AK. When were you planning on making some of these?

Replacing the safety is simple, and a tool-less process. I'd be interested in a modified magazine, if it's burr-free and good looking.

ok I should have some products up in a week or two. Right now i'm gonna work on the easy load mags and bolt hold open lever. I also have an idea for a "attachable" mag device. I think the price should be about $40-50 shipped for an easy load mag and bolt hold lever, but dont quote me on that, it may be a little more or less, we'll see

So is this a modification to the mag release, or mag itself? If it's for the mag itself, what about people with less common calibers like .308?

I would be very interested in the locking mag. I would definetly try one and if I liked the design I would get at least two more.
